The Shine letter represents the tooth that is a vitality symbol. This letter symbolizes spirit and energy in motion and describes the action of a centrifugal force. This letter radiates by its branches and shows expansion. The three branches of Shine represents the soul: nefesh, roua'h and nechamah. The three connected heads show the distinction of units. Shine is the symbol of emotion, the purpose of life and individuality.
The graphics of Shine is actually a tooth, but more specifically the simplification of a molar. Thus the original design shows us the symbol of the kneading tooth and especially its root. Moreover, in Hebrew the word "root" shows a Resh (head) surrounded by two Shine (one molar on each side): Shoresh. So Shine symbolizes the root of the head, that is to say the spirit, the existence root.
